jiraiya's VA makes urokodaki's character all the more lovable and great but at the same time making me sad as well!

This is a good show

The boulder Tanjiro cut was revealed to be the biggest one. Urokodaki never intended to let Tanjiro fight. So you could tell he was devastated when he saw the boulder sliced, but he was clearly proud and had no choice to let Tanjiro enter the exam since he had more than earned the right to do it. This is more than about slaying demons, Tanjiros whole path is for trying to return his sister back to a human and thats why he was never going to give up.

After hearing Tanjuro mention Sabito and Makomo, Urokodaki must have been shook. I wonder if there is more to this with Tanjiro, he also saw his mother and now his brother too. Could he be special in some way by hearing those who died.

Nope, it's sort of a general thing for people with a great emotional investment in (certain) people around them...in this story. There's at least one more demon slayer who will be shown encouraged by/ interacting with "personal ghosts". It's one of the supernatural elements of Demon Slayer, I suppose.
